Independent living without commitments

Most of our rooms are en-suite with a shower. Each room has one or two single beds, or a double bed, storage space, a sitting area, and a smart TV. Outside, there is a large terrace that can be used all year round, suitable for meals, tea or relaxation.

The monthly fee includes three meals a day, one of which is a three-course menu (soup, main and pudding). Between meals, you can use the coffee machine in the communal area without restrictions, and you can also make various types of tea. There is also a kitchen in the building, where everyone can cook according to their own needs. There is a weekly farmers market nearby, where dairy products, seasonal vegetables, fruits and other products are available.

Each room, and the communal areas too, have a smart TV with the option to subscribe to Netflix and other online streaming services. We can organise trips to nearby sites on request.

We offer an allotment where those interested can enjoy gardening.

We do the shopping for you, or provide an escort for independent shopping should it be required. There is a LIDL nearby, in addition to other international and local chains.

Our concierge can book appointments to hairdressers, manicure, pedicure and other services.

British citizens require a medical insurance, NHS and EHIC are not accepted for residential stays. You are entitled to free healthcare in Romania if you have an S1 form issued by NHS. Most British citizens receiving a UK State Pension are eligible for an S1 form. More information and instructions how to apply can be found here:

There is a world famous heart clinic 15 miles from our home that supports both prevention and treatment.

The region has a high number of natural spas that provide cure for multiple health issues.

Those with joints problem will benefit from the many natural mofettas that help not only with joints but circulation issues too.

We organise group and private transport to appointments, shopping, airport transfers and other destinations.

The Brasov Gimbav (GHV) airport is only one our drive and has direct flights to London Luton.

Brasov has an international train station too that provides connections to the major European cities, with sleeper trains too.
